ACADEMIC PROGRAM

JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

The Junior High School Department (Grades 7 to 10) is Level III PAASCU Accredited. Curriculum content is implemented through an integrated scheme aligning the subject areas according to basic thinking and communication skills as well as positive values and attitudes. Subject offerings are as follows: CL/VE, Filipino, English, Mathematics, Science, Araling Panlipunan, MAPEH, Technology and Livelihood Education, and Computer with electives in Bookkeeping, Drafting, and Foreign Language (Nihonggo).

It also offers daily Character Connection Classes geared at reinforcing the school’s vision, mission, core values, and institutional goals that will help students thrive both in school and in life. Remediation is held once a week (in the Grade 7 and 8 levels) to help students who are academically challenged in coping with their lessons. Other students are given reinforcement through Peer Tutorials facilitated by the Student Government before major examinations.

Grade 10 students are likewise enjoined to take part in the BSP and GSP with the goal of preparing them in becoming agents of positive change consistent with the school’s dictum of developing individuals with wisdom and virtues. As a co-curricular program, it is hoped that through imbibing a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law, Anthonians will be contributory in helping build a better world of self-fulfilled, constructive, and active citizens.
